Disguised Toast Facts
- Disguised Toast is a YouTuber, streamer, and Internet personality from Canada. Disguised Toast rose to prominence through his participation in ‘Hearthstone,’ a free-to-play online digital collectible card game developed by Blizzard Entertainment.
- Disguised Toast’s birth name is Jeremy Wang, and he was born on November 25, 1991. He was in Taiwan at the time and later moved to Canada. He is 30 years old and was born under the sign of Sagittarius. Jimmy Wang and Jenny Wang are his older brother and sister. Furthermore, he earned a three-year degree in mathematics from the University of Waterloo.
- Disguised Toast launched his ‘YouTube’ channel in April 2015. The channel now hosts ‘Hearthstone’-related videos, but it began with videos about other ‘Blizzard’ games based on ‘Hearthstone,’ such as ‘Rexxar,’ ‘The Old Gods,’ and ‘Warcraft.’ With his self-created infographics and YouTube videos about the game, he broke into the ‘Hearthstone’ community.
- He shared some unusual card interactions on ‘Reddit,’ which drew him initial public attention from the community. In March 2017, he competed in the tier 2 of the ‘ONOG Major Circuit at PAX East,’ finishing in the top 32. Toast competed in the tournament against Show, one of the best ‘Hearthstone’ players in the world. He duped Show by using the game’s most powerful and destructive card, the ‘Sacrificial Pact.’ Toast was disqualified from the tournament despite his historic performance because he overslept.
- In June 2017, Wang was temporarily banned from Hearthstone for 72 hours after demonstrating an exploit on stream. Wang also joined OfflineTV, a collective of content creators living together in Los Angeles, California, in October 2017.
- He rose to prominence as a result of his Hearthstone streams. He gained a large following in the summer of 2019 while streaming Riot Games’ new game Teamfight Tactics. Another surge occurred during the testing phase of Riot’s upcoming card game, Legends of Runeterra. He was Twitch’s second most-watched streamer at the time.
- In November 2019, he signed an exclusive deal with Facebook to transition his gaming streams from Twitch to Facebook Gaming. In May 2019, Wang was nominated for Twitch Streamer of the Year at the 11th annual Shorty Awards. Similarly, in late 2019, he declined a Blizzard offer to reveal a new card from the ‘Saviors of Uldum expansion,’ citing his personal feelings about Hearthstone as well as negative community reaction.
- Wang will return to Twitch in April 2020 to host a new non-gaming series called “Blind eDating.” As a result, the series revolves around dating a new girl each week and playing games with her. Furthermore, he received over one million subscribers and 150 million video views on YouTube in September and October 2020. It was due to a number of his videos based on the game Among Us becoming popular.
- In these videos, he has also played with a number of well-known Twitch streamers, YouTubers, and celebrities, including JackSepticEye, PewDiePie, Pokimane, and James Charles. In late October, he joined Democrat politicians Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar on Twitch for an Among Us session to advocate for voting in the ‘2020 United States Presidential Election.’
- In terms of Disguised Toast’s personal life, he began dating Janet Rose, also known as ‘xChocoBars,’ a Twitch star, in 2018. They’ve been together for a long time and have played several games together. They are collectively known as “Joast.” However, they mostly use the name when playing against each other, and it has even earned a hashtag on Twitter.
- Unfortunately, they called it quits on January 12, 2020. He joked that their breakup occurred soon after he received perfect vision thanks to LASIK surgery. Wang is currently single and concentrating on his career.
- Disguised Toast stands 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs approximately 70 kilogrammes. He used to disguise himself with a cardboard mask shaped like a toast, sunglasses, and a moustache. However, in October 2016, he inadvertently revealed his face. Furthermore, he has a pair of dark brown eyes and black hair.
